2010 vintage - new style 375ml bottle.

Pours a deep brown color with red highlights and two fingers of bubbly khaki head on top. Aromas of dense oak and wood meet a bright sour cherry. Tart, earthy accents run throughout along with a touch of spice. Nice!

First sip brings crispness and dry oak flavors upfront. Tannic with a solid kick of tart cherry. Spice and earthy funk but the wood has really seeped in this year. Flows down dry and puckering with lingering cherry accents.

Crisp with solid carbonation. A good sipper and a tasty treat to savor. Oak seems more forward this year but overall it's still a tasty treat.

2009 vintage.

Hazy brown pour with ruby highlights. Very mellow carbonation without much head at all. Spotty lacing slides down the glass. Aromas are an intense amalgamation of oak, sour funkiness, cherry, raisins. Acidic vinegar accents. Mellow toffee/caramel in the background.

First sip brings tart cherry and bracing sourness blazing upfront. Hints of raisin, brown sugar and spice meld in. Sour funkiness as it flows down with tart cherry on the aftertaste as well. Acidic vinegar taste throughout. Quite wonderful for this sour beer lover.

Smooth and on the lighter side. Good carbonation as it flows down easy. The acidity is a bit much but not overwhelming for a 375ml bottle. A nice treat after a long day of work and a must try for any sour beer fan.
