Yet anther installment in beer from Westsidethreat week. :suds:

A - Strong ale? This sure looks like a big stout to me. Small cocoa colored head made of mostly tiny bubbles. Recedes quickly to a film on the surface and a ring around the glass. Body is dark brown, bordering on black and doesn't allow a ray of light through it.

S - Big sweet odors pounce out of the glass with molasses and toffee hitting right up front. Roasty malts. Dark chocolate. Vanilla bean.

T - Starts off with light molasses and toffee. Slight coffee bitterness. Then it happens. Huge deep chocolate notes overtake your tongue. Baker's chocolate, cocoa, and dark black chocolate are all here in all their glory. It's like a layered chocolate cake in a glass. Get more powdered cocoa at the finish. Light chocolate aftertaste. Is it possible that I might really like Old better than Older?

M - Big and chewy full bodied feel. Smooth carbonation.

D - Quite a fine brew here. Love the burst of layered chocolate I am getting here.
