Just received this brew tonight and CAN’T wait to try it!! I’ve heard so much about it from a jerky friend out in Connecticut. Now I get to try it! Drank from my Surly nonic pint glass.

Appearance- Pours a cloudy light yellowish with a nice half finger bright white creamy head. A nice cap and collar is left the entire beer along with a few random spots of lacing.
Smell- Super fruity with an insane West Coast bright hoppy profile. Tons of pineapple, mango, orange peel, lemon zest and grapefruit pith. Like literally the fruitiest nose I’ve ever taken a whiff of. Not much else I can say about it. Hops, hops, hops!
Taste- Wow. Starts out with a fruity blast that isn’t as intense as the nose but still remains fresh and vibrant. A kick of mango and pineapple right from the get go along with a crazy vibrant blast of peach flesh. I almost get vanilla tones at times as the beer is crazy fruity but not bitter in the least. There isn’t a real malty thing going on but there is a light cracker sweetness in the background to sort of balance the hoppy goodness. Honestly, the beer sort of tastes like a peach Jolly Rancher to me. The finish is full of grapefruit and Georgia peach.
Mouthfeel- Medium body with a super light spritzy carbonation. The body is spot on for a IPA of this style and the carbonation is perfect.
Drinkability- Oh man. What a great freaking beer. I honestly can’t think of another IPA that’s like it. It doesn’t have the sort of bitterness of the Pliny’s, the sweetness of a Hopslam or the maltiness of a Furious. It’s sort of an enigma among IPA’s and I freaking love the shit out of it. Really glad this brewery put out a few bottles. Hopefully they put out more in the future; this beer needs to be shared!
