Thanks to Scoobydank for the four pack!
Pours a golden color with a good inch+ of foam, every Surly beer I've poured has looked good so far.
Smells like a bitter but with fuggles and citrus combination. Lots of toast with some earthiness, hints of caramel, and some nutty malts. Really fresh hop aroma.
Tastes very toasted at first. Hard to describe, but very noble hop taste with a slight citrus finish, works really well. Quite a bit of biscuit malt too. There's also an earthy flavor. A slight metallic taste is detected in the aftertaste but it's possibly the hop profile.
Great mouthfeel, I could drink this all day.
