Thanks to Joe at JJ for hooking me up with this beer before it was available on the market.

Pours a clear deep amber with a big foamy off-white head. The thick foam settles slowly over time and leave a good bit of lacing stuck to the walls of the glass.

Fruity hops up front with a nice subdued grapefruit and light lemongrass along with a nice malty aroma. Sweet coppery malt gives way to biscuity malt with a slight toffee note and very light creamy caramel.

Warm and smooth malt. Lots of biscuit and a nice bit of roasted malt and even a light coffee flavor. Hops are nicely balanced with a light grapefruit and light lemon. Plenty of rye spiciness in the aftertaste with a light berry note and more light coffee in the background.

The best Unchained brew to date. Nice and hoppy with great rye flavors that many rye beers fail to showcase. Medium carbonation that's a bit prickly on the tongue and does a great job of bringing out the hop flavors and the rye notes.
