Poured out of that Ernest Borgnine looking labelled bottle into a pint glass.

Looks like clear pumpkin pie in color, with a thin head. Aroma of pumpkin pie - crust, spices, pumpkin, the whole smash - with a bit of vanilla. Tastes a bit better, with an initial nutmeg spiciness alongside caramel malt and mashed pumpkin. Bitterness keeps it from becoming cloying. Finishes with a dryish pumpkin pie flavor that's reminiscent of a good autumn ale colliding head on with a good pumpkin pie. Creamy round mouthfeel. 8% and doesn't taste that big. Among the best pumpkin ales I've had, up there with Cambridge Brewing Company's pumpkin ale and the late, lamented Woodstock Ichabod Crane.

Price: $7.00 Served In: Pint Glass
