A - Pour produces a big tan head made up of tight bubbles. Super dense and sturdy, this thing is going nowhere. Nice and pillowy. Body is a clean copper color with streams of tight bubbles rising to the surface.

S - Really earthy tones to the hops here. Green and grassy. Spicy. Sappy. Malts are surprisingly toasty with a nice caramel aroma.

T - Very much what you would expect from the smell. Matls are a bit sweeter, with the caramel coming around right at the front end of things. Hops go through a complete rundown of flavors. They starts off earthy and grassy, then work into more spicy, peppery flavors, and finish more bitter and piney. Toasted malts come on at the end, combining with the piney bitterness to bring this beer into the aftertaste where the bitterness hangs on for what seems like forever. As soon as the aftertaste is gone, I want another sip.

M - Medium bodied with resiny, dry bittering hops. Carbonation is fine with a nice fizziness.

Overall - Quite a nice beer. Glad that Sierra Nevada decided to ship some to MN. This brewery continues to push out good beer after good beer and get little to no attention for the great things that they are doing.
