Pours a clear amber-brass color with a thick one finger almond colored head. Good lacing.
Aroma is sweet malts-caramel. Fruity (pear)and brown sugar. Earthy- yes, and grassy.
Hmmmm.... interesting. Malts are predominate in this-biscuity and grainy, with a touch of caramel sweetness. It is bitter (hops), with a nice citrus taste-lemon with a hint of orange. Well balanced, with an excellent finish...
Mouthfeel is medium in body, smooth, dry towards the finish. Visibly active, pleasant carbonation.
IMO, this is an excellent offering from SN. An easy drinker, session-able, pleasant, whats not to like? And yes, it does make me wish for warmer weather...
Highly Recommended!!
