Picked up a single bottle yesterday from SouthBay Drugs and Liquor.
The beer is a dark tangerine and copper color, a dense inch of compact bubbles forms from a semi-aggressive pour. Good retention and a little bit of lacing.
Full biscuit and toast aroma with herbal and spicy hops. Crackers, soft citrus fruits, sweet bread, and a dominant earthiness, spiciness, and sweet floral aroma from the hops. Slight lemony aroma in the background. Also some fruitiness that seems to be from the yeast, apple, and cherry.
Grainy bitterness, dry crackers, biscuits (the English cookies), flowery, spicy, and earthy hops just as the aroma. Well done, you pretty much taste everything you smell. Lingering medium bitterness in the finish, semi-dry. Not very complex but quite tasty nonetheless.
Very good carbonation level, soft and airy. Super easy to drink but the earthy bitterness and dryness in the finish keeps this from being too sessionable.
