Nice golden amber of medium bodied glow. Hugely fluffy foam caps the top at nearly two inches thick and stays put for great length leaving all sorts of patchy lacing as it subsides and consumed.
Well balanced nose of pale sweet malt with a realm of caramel and the hops that are cedary with twists of dull lemon and old mango.
Taste is also pretty well balanced with a nice malty sweetness of bready caramels, pale and toasted malt are hinted to. Hops are twistedly placed with a quick hit of cedar at first then smoothened citrus puff and peels of orange and lemon are dully played into a slight and fine bitterness thats softly lurking with pithy citrus and woody notes.
Smooth firm medium body with a slight slickness to it from a nice malting. Finishes with a overall Pale ale sense of bitterness and balance with citrus and pine woods.
A decent Pale ale for sure, IPA? Not sure if this quite makes it, its close, as it really screams Pale ale to me, and yet it's good no matter how ya label it. So drink up!
