Big pop from the cork leads to a lovely smooth, viscous black pours into my Sierra Nevada snifter. Coal black and devoid of light with a solid two fingers of creamy tan head on top that leaves some nice lacing. Really looks beautiful in the glass. Aromas of rich, dark roasted malts upfront. Luscious dark chocolate with a touch of coffee. Hops peek through as well. Just bright and inviting overall.

First sip is smooth and creamy with wonderful deep roasted malts all over the place. Rich chocolate makes an upfront showing along with a touch of coffee as well. Vibrant, deep and a bit earthy even, the flavor here really is sublime. Flows down with a touch of hoppy bitterness that pairs in perfectly. Wow, just a straight up really awesome stout here that yet again cements my love for both Sierra Nevada and Anchor. Good show!

Mouthfeel is freaking lovely....super silky smooth with a solid heft and perfect carbonation. This is just pure drinking pleasure for me. A wonderfully tasty stout and awesome collaboration from two brewers that have all my respect. Well worth seeking out, really wish I had another bottle!
