I've been drinking a few of these new Short's releases but haven't reviewed any of them, I haven't reviewed anything in a while though.

So here goes:

With a semi-aggressive pour into my pint glass, this beer creates a small 1/4" head of tight, tiny bubbles. As you drink the beer, a nice lacing coats the glass. Color is a deep copper and you can barley see through this one.

I'll admit, the more hops the better for me, so I'm glad to smell this one, huge citrus hop nose, this beer smells great!

The taste backs up the smell, immediate bitter hops hit the tongue followed by a strong bitter aftertaste. I've read people say this beer is basically a double Huma, but I think that although it's a hop bomb, it's a little more balanced then the Huma. Very tasty beer.

Mouthfeel is what you'd expect from a DIPA, good carbonation and the bitter hops leave your mouth a little numb well after the drink has gone down.

Overall, another good DIPA in MI that rivals some of the stuff I've tried from the West Coast.

Price: $2.50 Served In: Bottle
