Old Review
Another brew I indulged in at the J. Clyde this weekend while meeting a few middle Alabama BAs (BamaBeerBuff and AmishT are great guys and absolutely worth spending time over a pint with). Served in a standard pint.

A: Poured a pale golden/yellow. The carbonation was very active in this beer. Head was moderate but lack of retention took it down to a wispy nothing. No lacing.

S: Smell is actually pretty good. Bready malt, but not too sweet. Hops are there in the nose with a herbal tinge to them. Smells very earthy and of summer.

T: Taste is even better. The bready malt is present with a cracker note. The hops actually have a touch of bitter bite to them along with the herbal nature they bring to this pint. It is sweet, herbal and bitter all in the same gulp. Simple but very nice.

M: Closer to a light body than medium, but this brew does what it sets out to do. Crisp carbonation that makes this beer go down easy and refreshes in the heat. Only a slight note of bitterness and a faint (but pleasant) metallic aftertaste.

D: This brew is simple but gets the job done. I enjoyed it even if it didn't challenge my palate as much as the previous brews in the day. This went down easy but still had some flavor. Will drink again.
