Old Review
Uh, four 12 oz cans served up in a pilsner glass for my enjoyment while watching my Pens close out the series. Been meaning to get around to this brew for a while and I figured it would make a good beer to drink multiples of during the game.

A: So yeah, this is a straight up pilsner yo. Got a yellowy gold color that is super clear. Held to the light the color doesn't change much from you expected pils gold. There is a good amount of carbonation in here that makes me happy, I know this will be refreshing just by looking at it. Always got a good finger or more of head of the pours and it held its own. Lace was pretty decent, throwing some webs on the glass. Not bad at all, but it is straight up pils.

S: Well its got a nice hops presence and that is what sets it apart from most pils. Has a nice floral and spicy aroma kickin here. Then you get the light malt and grains presence. Other than that, pretty boring. Hops are what shine here though.

T: Yet again, nice hops presence. Little bit of spice rolling across the palate and then a really nice and light floral presence. Malts are pale and bring a slight breadiness to the equation. The grains are nice, making this earthy and interesting. Sure, its not crazy, but it tastes good.

M: Light bodied with a high carbonation. Carbonation shines and is what it should be in a pils. Lots crispness going on creating uber refreshment. ABV seems much lower than the recorded 5.3%. Finishes actually pretty clean, leaving only a touch of grains and earth in the background.

D: Very. All I can say. This is an easy drinking Pils and that is what I want from the style. Easily killed four of these with no regrets. It may have actually gotten a 5 in the drinkability department but the $10 price tag takes a little away (yes I tend to factor in price to this score). Otherwise, I can't complain. Just a great summer/lawnmower brew. Refreshes and pleases. Thank you Oskar Blues. Very nice.
