Color is medium orange, slightly darker than a standard IPA. Smell has lots of hops and citrus. Just what I have come to expect from a "Left Coast" IPA. Almost smells like a low-end DIPA. Taste follows right along the smell. Lots of hops, some spices and a resin/pine taste. Again, the taste makes me think more of a DIPA than a regular IPA. Only a slight bitterness on the finish. Feel is slightly oily and resin. Sticky would be a good word for it.

Overall, this is a borderline IPA/DIPA in my opinion. Not knocking it for that, though, as I like both a lot. The hops shine through, as do all the good things that come with that -- citrus, resin, pine, slight bitterness. Maybe I'll just call this one an "unbalanced IPA". I still like it though.
