Color is basically dark brown, as expected. Smell is muted, as I was expecting something bigger from the smell. It is smoky, dark malts, all that. Just very muted. Taste actually a bit watery. You do get the smkoed flavor, and it actually builds after the first taste. A very slight sweetness too. Maybe even a burned chocolate taste at the end. Feel is thin. More thin than I figured for a porter.Overall, it's good but not great. It is easy to drink, but to me, that's because it seems watered down a bit. The smoked essence also seems too minimal for the style.
