Thanks to Tip Top for the growler!

if I could give a beer a 4 for appearance, this one would get it. Beautiful reddish copper with a cream colored head that lasts forever. Aroma has toasted malt, caramel, and toffee underneath a deep hoppiness, mildly citrusy but more spicy and earthy with hints of apricot.

Flavor follows through - bitterness is big and firm throughout, but there's plenty of chewy, apricot and toasty malt to balance it out. Rindy citrus flavors arrive on the scene adding more depth, and then a "caramel sugar in tea" sweetness is in there. Lots of flavors in this one and they all blend beautifully. Nowhere near a hop bomb, much more balanced, but there's enough hop here to keep a hophead happy. Alcohol is only faintly present, which keeps the drinkability well up the charts. Love the round, all-enveloping mouthfeel. Yet another seriously tasty brew from Town Hall.
