Color is amber. Smell is hoppy, with citrus, pine, and all the good things you expect. Taste is good but more malt sweetness than expected. Hops bitterness is obvious, and quite honestly is far stronger for an American Pale Wheat Ale than you'd ever expect. Feel is solid, with carbonation notable.

Overall, this one is a good bottle. HOWEVER, it's not an American Pale Wheat Ale. It actually reminds me of the old recipe for the Lagunitas IPA. The grapefruit, citrus and hop oils in the IPA were among my favorites. Until they changed the recipe apparently. This one is far closer to that recipe, with a bit more malt sweetness. Really good bottle, but not in the style apparently. I am rating this as an overall beer, rather than in the style.
