Picked this one up today from South Bay Drugs & Liquor, thanks Joey ;o)

Pours a dark caramel color with garnet spots when held to the light and a thick inch of foam.

Lots of coffee, hazelnut, oatmeal cookie, milk-chocolate, nutmeg, toast, and nuts. Also picking up some warm milk and cream aromas. I wasn’t expecting too much from this one but it’s really quite good on the nose. Halfway through the beer I’m starting to pick up some “green” aromas, not sure how to describe that better.

On the first sip I get coffee and bitter-sweet chocolate followed by chocolate malts and dry, bitter, roasted barley. A mix of coffee with cream and light chocolate on the finish.
Some dry graham cracker flavor or burnt toast in the aftertaste. Not the freshest coffee flavor I’ve had in a coffee stout but still a good aggressive coffee presence.

A little thin on the mouthfeel, a tad too carbonated on the tongue.

Overall, it’s a little better than I expected and for the price of $2.99 for a bomber I’d say it’s a good deal.
