Thanks to Bakes for the growler.

Not sure that Winter Warmer is correct, as this is a Saison. I can always switch it if bakes corrects me.

A - Pour brings a nice half inch of dense head. Guess this growler didn't go flat! Recedes to leave a few floating bubble clumps and a thick bead around the edges. Body is darker than expected hearing saison, but I guess this is a "Winter Saison" so anything goes. Color floats somewhere between iced tea and cola, with a bit of chill haze to it.

S - Saison meets winter warmer, no kidding. You get the bright hoppy freshness of a saison, with some Belgian yeast and a bit of spice. Then add in some big nuttiness along with toffee and caramel. Smells like something I should be having in front of a fire in the fall.

T - Taste follows up with the aroma a lot. Fresh brightness of candi sugar, spicy hops, and yeast come from the saison end of this. Then add in big nuttiness, caramel, toffee and even some wintergreen from the winter warmer side of things. Very nice. The minty wintergreen almost leaves that minty clean feeling in your mouth and down your throat.

M - Super smooth, this one is just a touch heavier than medium bodied.

Overall - Super drinkable, very different beer here. Combines two styles to make one great beer.
