Pours a brilliant gold with a white head that lasts a long, long time. Aroma of bready, toasty-grainy malt and spicy, herbal/citric hops. Releases a noble hop plume that is noticeable from 3 feet away as it pours from the growler into the pint glass.

Starts with a slightly honey-sweey, lightly toasted bready maltiness with a crisp underlying bitterness. the flavor is a nice mix of toasted grain and clean, slightly lemony, herbal hops. Very true to style. Doesn't have the malt development of the great decoction Pilsners of Europe (think Jever) but is super clean. Perfectly balanced body. Finishes with a dryish lightly toasted and honeyish grain over a firm, tongue-wrapping bitterness - hints of lemon again.

A very solid take on the style, eminently drinkable.
