First off, the cap was leaking when the bottle was put sideways or upside down.

A: Super fizzy carbonation produced a huge flax colored head with large, sudsy bubbles. The body is super hazy, chestnut color with amber highlights.

S: Peaty smoke, not over bearing but certainly present. I take that back, there’s a lot of smoke here. Also spiced cake, sarsaparilla and a little honey.

T: First impression is light smokiness around the front center of the tongue. Nothing
else really happens until after the swallow, where a bland oat and grapenut flavor sort of merges. Little grassy and mildy malty with some red fruits. Finishes with that dryness that juniper berries bring, especially to gin. Aftertaste of earthy smokiness and a little bitterness.

M: Medium body with an over abundance of fizzy carbonation across the palate.

D: Not one of my favorite smoked beers I’ve had. Carbonation is a total turn off too.
