Growler that Aaron brought me at Nebraska Beer Fest, meaning it's at least a week old now.

Poured from the growler into a tulip (I know it's not the right glassware, but my Duvel tulips are my fallback). Pour produces a quarter inch of head that is gone withing about 15 seconds. Could be that this has lost some carbonation being in the growler for a bit. Body is a dark copper color and clean.

Gotta be honest and say that my nose isn't at top form here. Allergies getting to me a bit. Dark caramel malts shine through.

Caramel malt is a lot lighter than expected coming from the nose on the beer. It's not nearly as rich as in the smell. Just as the the malts are subsiding, there is a ever so slight sourness that comes on the end. I thought there was something wrong until I read the description of the style. Being a guy who loves sour, this very slight presence just makes me want it to be more sour.

Medium-light bodied. Light carbonation, though that could be because of the growler. Super, super easy drinking. I might make some sort of record drinking this one down.

Super sessionable beer from a style I don't think I've had an example of. As usual for Grimm Brothers stuff, very well crafted.
