Green Flash’s IPA epitomizes the West Coast IPA style – it pours a medium coppery yellow and has a nice thick head. The smell is all flowers, fruit, and hoppy happy. The taste is a knock your block off combination of hopped up pine with grapefruit and lots of malt – but hop heads – don’t let the malt frighten you off – it is so smoothly mixed into the flavor that it only adds, doesn’t detract. This was one of the first of the San Diego craft micro brews I tried and it remains an everyday favorite Served In: Bottle
