12 oz bottle I received from the wonderful Lum. Been looking forward to giving this one a shot for a while. Served up in a tulip.

A: The body is medium, straw colored yellow. Held to the light, it has a nice, light lemon tinted appearance. The body is nice and hazy with nice streams of quick moving carbonation running up the bulb of the glass. The pour was a bit of a pain due to the fast building head. I probably had a little over 3 fingers of white, pillowy, airy head. The head does fade somewhat quickly but it forms a tight, half finger of head that throws up some really nice lace all over the glass. Very nice.

S: As soon as I popped the cap on this brew, I was hit with a lemony herbal note. Once it was in the tulip and I was able to put my nose in there, I am getting a really nice and lightly sugary lemon note. There is some really nice Belgian qualities that take over. Little bit of banana, and peach coming out. A very nice light funk comes out as some light, dusty barn funk. Getting a very fine but defined orange peel aroma. Light pepper and a little bit of lemongrass. Dig it.

T: Not much different from the nose at all except for the order of flavors. There is a very nice creamy banana with a light vanilla presence that hits me first of all. This is lightened up with some nice lemon and orange notes. Getting the meat of the lemon and the zest of the orange. The pepper bounces around, coming out from time to time. The beer rounds out with a musky funk quality and a light champagne grape like quality. Wonderful.

M: This beer does have a little bit of weight to it but it is lightened up by a pretty vibrant carbonation. It just opens up the beer wonderfully. ABV is not really coming across to me other than light and champagne like. Just has that light and bubbly alcohol presence. The beer finishes nice a dry. Aftert taste is a little funkiness and banana.

OA: Very nice. The best way to put it is beautiful. All the flavors and aromas are very well put together and they meld together wonderfully. Its incredibly drinkable and I could easily kill half a dozen or more of these on a hot day. Just great. Thanks, Paul!
