How do I begin? Pours a nice golden butterscotch like color with a nice white head with tiny bubbles. The head is surprising for a beer that's been barrel aged like this one. Very tasty appearance.

The smell is in your face bourbon, maple syrup, vanilla, and booze.

Taste is very boozy but very enjoyable. Same aspects as the nose with a little bit of oak tossed in. You can almost get a little taste of some wheatwine sweetness but the maple bourbon barrels take this beer over.

Mouth is medium with a considerable amount of heat in the throat. I actually enjoy the heat very much in this beer where in others I might be a little turned off.

Overall this is one of my favorite Founders beers ever and being that they are my favorite brewery that speaks for itself. Delicious in your face boozy nectar that everyone should search out if they can get their hands on it.
