Smell is smooth vanilla with some bourbon and some chocolaty background notes. The taste is roasty with a smooth bourbon flavor and a little aftertaste of vanilla and chocolate. Mouthfeel is thick and highly carbonated. Overall I enjoyed the smell more than last years, but the flavors are mostly bourbon and the breakfast stouty flavors are light and covered by bourbon and burnt flavors.
