750ml bottle, corked and caged.

A - Beautiful pour on this one. Black body that doesn't allow even a bit of light to get through. Starts with a two inch dark cocoa colored head that is sort of soapy looking. Good retention and solid lacing.

S - Whiskey jumps out of the glass, giving it an odd sweetness. leather and wood. Anise and green apple?

T - I swear there is something weird going on with the Flying Dog Wild Dog stuff lately. Like it's actually got something wild going on in it. I tasted this first in the Weizenbock and now in this one too. It's an oddly placed slightly tart green apple flavor. I didn't expect it in the Weizenbock and didn't expect to get it here either. Anyways, on to the rest of the beer... Light chocolate is here, mixing with that tart green apple up front. The woodiness is definitely a big part of this beer with very light char and big whiskey notes. Some anise towards the end.

M - Medium full bodied. Very smooth carbonation that is a little on the light side.

D - Good brew here, but I think I like the regular version of Gonzo better.
