Thanks to joe1510 for this one!

Blue waxed cap... Blue - Lady Columbia IPA

Pours a coppery, slightly hazy amber color. Creamy, one finger off white head on semi-aggressive pour - fading to a thin cap and with that ever present collar. Very impressive glass- grabbing lacing.

Aroma is very much like a DIPA. Strong, earthy and robust citrus (grapefruit, orange zest), with an equally impressive and commanding caramel malt spine. Very nice.

On first taste- wow, this is a hop lovers dream. Citrus and pine, more citrus and pine. Aggressive, robust, tongue scrubbing... taking all these elements right to the edge.... and then the smooth, sweet maltyness brings you slowly back.... ooooh yeeeeaaah. Me likey.

Medium to teetering on full in body. Smooth and creamy, yet brash and bold. Think DIPA here. Nice dryness to the finish. Carbonation is subtle and balancing. Most certainly of a higher ABV, as it has that alcohol presence in warmth. I absolutely love the mouthfeel of this IPA. Excellent.

I love this. A borderline DIPA - in all areas. Brash yet balanced, tongue assaulting yet refreshing, dry yet creamy - one element may almost overwhelm you, but an opposite will bring everything back to a strikingly beautiful balance. A sipper.
Definitely worth seeking out.
A must try.
Thanks Joe!
