A: Super carbonated, damn thing spilled over when I was pouring. Head settled quickly to a sudsy mass of leather colored bubbles. Body seems sort of thin, a very dark brown bordering on black.

S: Really oily. Vinous bakers chocolate, little bit of licorice, tobacco and sweetish leather.

T: Starts out dry, roasted and bitter. Sweetness comes in quickly though with cheap American chocolate at the tip of the tongue and minor grape juice behind the scenes. Some roasted nuttiness can be found around the center of the tongue with pricks of lactose to and fro. After the swallow, the sweetness gets a little cloying before the roasted barley takes control and sweet espresso roast coasts it to a finish.

M: Thin for the style but a decent mouthfeel.

D: Eh. Just another over rated imperial stout. I’m getting bored of these. This is an ok beer, but nothing special.
