A - Pour produces a nice toffee colored head that is about a inch and a half tall and made up of varying sized bubbles. A nice skim stays on the surface the whole way through along witha thick bead around the edge. Body is light brown with a little bit of an orange hue to it. Clean and clear.

S - Tart and funky. Lots of stale, earthy farmhouse funk coming at me. Almost a lambic like funk. Sweet, sour cherries. Some oakiness. Quite nice.

T - Very dry right up front, the flavors start off lighter than expected. Tartness starts low and increases gradually as it goes. Sour cherries and light sweet malt flavors. Funk is much lighter on the palate than it is on the nose. Earthy. Light woodiness.

M - Medium to light bodied. Fine, agressive carbonation.

Overall - The taste really let me down from the aroma. Carbonation is too hard and abrasive. This is a good beer, but lacks the layers of complexity needed to rise to great or elite status in my opinion. Could be interesting to see what some age will do to it though.
