Thanks for Bison for this brew!

Pours a nice deep black with a thin deep brown head that leaves a nice bit of lacing coating the walls of the glass. The head atop the brew settles to just a couple wisps on the top of the liquid.

Smells of smooth chocolate malt. Nice bit of burnt malt bitterness coming in next and a nice sweetness. Touch of toffee and dark caramel. Hint of plum and then a nice coffee note.

Nice and sweet chocolate is upfront and foremost. Bit of caramel and a nice smooth toffee. Then a burnt malt bitterness comes across right before the nice coffee flavor at the end. Medium carbonation prickles the tongue a bit more then your standard stout. This is especially interesting because the coffee oils usually kill some of the carbonation a bit.
