
Pours a deep red/caramel with lots of foamy slightly off-white head atop the brew. The foam settles slowly and leaves wispy lacing stuck to the glass.
Deep slightly sweet malt. Hint of caramel and a bit of roastiness. Belgian yeast imparts fruity notes. Dried apricots and raisins. Bit of brown sugar too. Nice.
Smooth and slightly sweet malt. Rich and flavorful with a nice hint of caramel and touch of roasted malt. Deep fruit flavors imparted by the yeast. Raisins and figs are most prominent. Dark cherry and a bit of berry are also present at the end.
Very drinkable with a full body. Tasty stuff.
