Got this can from Organized Chaos. Served up in a tall glass.
A: Pours up a very solid and shiny amber color. Held to the light, a few more reds and oranges are pushing through. The body is very clear with a very active carbonation activity on the edges. The pour got me over a finger of off white head. Pretty decent lacing and head retention. Dig it.
S: Has a very citrus hop profile. Almost tropical, notes of pineapple and oranges. Very malty, caramel sweetness coming across. Getting a nice belgian sugar and yeast note as well. Other than that, its a bit light.
T: Starts off with the hops. Citrus and tropical: orange, mango, pineapple, lemon zest, etc. This shifts into the malty sweetness with a touch of that belgian yeast. Sweet and earthy. Things round off with a floral note.
M: Medium mouthfeel with a moderate carbonation. ABV is light but noticeable. Sharp on the palate with some hop bite. Dries up pretty nicely. Aftertaste is all floral and tropical hops.
OA: Tasty stuff. I feel like I might be missing a bit because I have a small cold, but this is quite tasty stuff. The Belgian yeast is a nice touch to all the hops and malt going on in here. Wish I had a few more these but this one hits the spot. Good stuff. Thanks, Mike.
