Served chilled and poured into my Tripel Karmeliet glass.

Appearance is good. Aren't Weizenbocks typically dark? This one isn't. Deep citrus orange colored brew with a soapy yet sturdy white head. Looks like a DIPA (minus the lacing) to be honest.

Smell is good. Funky sweet banana, caramelized wheat, unripe citrus fruit and a hint of clove.

Taste is very good. Banana-flavored donuts (is there such a thing?) Great sweet wheat flavor that's balanced and not overly aggressive. Crafted very well. Sugar-glazed melons in the finish.

Mouthfeel is good. Delicate and soft on the palate. Slight acidic bite in the finish. Carbonation level is perfect and not overly-done.

Drinkability is very good. Addictive flavor. Killing another bottle of this easy drinker would be a pleasure.

Needless to say, I'm a fan of this brew. Recommended.
