I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one yet. Maybe that's because my first experience with this one was right before Larry Bell pulled out of Chicago for a while, and the place I had it apparently had tainted tap lines. Whatever the reason, I hated this one the first two times I had it at that
place. I've since had it several times and obviously it's a great bottle.
Color is pale golden, as expected. Smell is a bit muted, but a slight grassy sweetness, some yeast and a little hint of bitterness. Taste is all wheat and yeast and a very minor bitterness in the end. And then it fades. Overall, as solid a wheat beer as you'll find anywhere.
