Batch 8285

A - Clear golden, almost amber, color, similar to the color of a prescription drug container. Numerous minute bubbles in the head and fewer that that slowly drift up throughout the rest of the beer.

S - Primary smell yields mostly strong grapefruit, making it hard to take in much else. Secondary smell gives way to hints of pine and other citrus, most notably lemon.

T - Very strong upfront grapefruit flavor that slowly gives way to a sweet bitterness. After taste is a mix between grassy and piny hops. The beer is not hot at all. In fact, there is no noticeable taste of alcohol, especially for how strong the alcohol content is.

M - Very smooth at first, and becomes more thick and bubbly as it moves to the back of the mouth. The thick feeling disappears when taking the next taste of the beer.

O - One of my favorite brews in general, and definitely at least top two of ones that I've had from Bell's so far. Would almost be a session beer for me if not for the high ABV.
