Pours a deep brown and allows some light to penetrate. Foamy thick medium brown head settles over time and leaves a good 1/4in of foam atop the brew and a bit running up the walls of the glass although no real lacing.
Deep roasty malts with a nice sweetness. Touch of caramel and bread. Just a slight hint of spice. Touch of light almond and a hint of coffee.
Smooth roasty malty body. Light toffee and more roast. Very small hint of light chocolate and almond. Slight bit of biscuit. Light carbonation.
This one hits it right on what a bock should be. Nicely done.
