Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass.

A - Brownish red body that has an ever so slight haze to it. Head started light tan, fizzy and only about a quarter inch tall. Now there is no head to speak of, probably as a result of the barrel aging this one went through.

S - Wow, what a trip here. You can definitely smell what the wine barrels left here, with deep grapes and some light tannins to go along with a light woodiness. Pumpkin spice and nutmeg. Almost smells like it's got a wild side too (I sure hope so).

T - Yes! Pumpkin done with a bit of a wild side. Why didn't someone do this sooner? You get light pumpkin pie and even a bit of whipped cream (how'd they do that?). Definitely wine flavors going on with deep grapes. Light autumn spiciness. Then it happens. It's light, but there for sure. Light pleasant tartness that lasts for a bit and brings you to a clean finish. Yum.

M - Medium bodied, maybe a touch lighter. Light carbonation.

Overall - I really, really like this beer. Pumpkin done with a light wild side. Could be interesting to see if this comes out a little more with time. Recommended. Different that most things you have had.
