It pours a clear golden colour with a +1 finger head of foam and some very nice lacing.

The smell is very hoppy; loads of tropical fruits, some pine and grapefruit, and a light malt profile.

Big tropical fruit in the taste as well with pine and grapefruit well represented. There's an underlying malt sweetness there that I didn't notice at all in the smell; I'm sure if I had left the bottle sitting for longer, it would come out more but as is, it's doing the light balancing act nicely and really, I wanted to drink this fresh anyway.

The body is close to full with just the right amount of carbonation. A GREAT mouthfeel.

This is a fine brew and I'm super glad that I got a chance to try it.

Btw, there's no sign of any bottled on/best before date so I'll assume that it's a 2012.
