A - Head comes out of nowhere. Doesn't look like anything is producing from the pour and all the sudden I have two inches in my glass. Light cocoa colored and made of varying sized bubbles. Good retention and lacing. Very dark brown body. I can only see light through it at the bottom of the tulip.

S - Chocolate, dark roasted malt. Bitter coffee. Toffee and molasses. Slightly spicy and floral hops. A bit of lactose.

T - So much richer than the smell. Coffee bitterness combines with a nice flavor of baker's chocolate or cocoa. Molasses and toffee along with a bit of black licorice. Finishes with spicy, floral hops that stay on the tongue for a minute.

M - Full bodied with smooth carbonation.

D - This is a really nice and unobtrusive RIS. It's going to take me a while to get through of a bomber of this big ol beer, but I will enjoy the ride.
