A - Pours a motor oil black looking body that is completely opaque. There is no way a bit of light is going through this thing. Head is big and chunky, made of tons of tight bubbles, and light brown colored. The head on the initial pour had the look of mashed potatoes. Nice retention with decent lacing.

S - Big cocoa nose with some lactose mixed in. Vanilla bean and fresh coffee.

T - Whoa, this a big beauty! Loads of chocolate playing on the tongue here, with cocoa, baker's chocolate and milk chocolate all present. Nice roasty flavor combined with light expresso. Nothing is overpowering here and really melding together nicely. Bittersweet chocolate hits you towards the end, leaving you wanting more.

M - Big and chewy, but remarkably smooth. Full bodied, but a bit milky creamy.

D - This drunks much easier than it should for being so huge. A top notch double stout which I will have to get more of. Many thanks to Westsidethreat for the bottle.
