Old Review
22 oz bomber I got from Arbor Place Beverage in Douglasville. Poured into a Weizen glass.
A: Poured a nice, dark, caramel, brown. Had a very nice, rocky mocha head that had some great retention. Lacing was there but minimal. Still a great looking beer.
S: Smell is of roasted, caramel malt, cloves and spice. There is a metallic hint to it but all of these scents are very muted.
T: Taste is of a very nice, roasted, caramel malt first and foremost. This is the greatest character of this beer. Clove and banana are there and there is also touch of peppery spice to it. This is a great tasting brew.
M: Medium in body and has a real coating quality to it. Sticks to the mouth and allows those caramel flavors to mingle. The alcohol really has some presence but it is not unpleasant.
D: Very high in drinkability. I really like this brew. Very tasty and great to look at. The feel and aroma are ok, but it really shines in flavor. Very happy Weyerbacher is in GA. Will be picking up a lot of these over time.
