Color is a dark reddish brown of cherrywood, strong pour produced a finger high head of white foam, some bigger bubbles - fades to a skim and leaves stringy lace patches. Nice aroma of darkened and sweet caramel malts, then more malts, dark fruits of banana and starfruit with a touch of nuttyness. Taste is a mirror reflection of the smell, oh how nice, incredibly smooth sweet caramel flavors, a malt haven mixing with nuts and banana. A small amount of mildly dry, smokey bitterness in the finish. Feel is creamy/buttery with a light carbonation, medium bodied and lightly tingly and warming in the finish. I enjoyed this, as I do all scotch malt ales. This was a pleasure.
