Belgian style ale. No noticeable smell, surprising given the 9.3% ABV.Pours a hazy yellow with a small frothy head. The taste is typical of Belgian ales, nothing overpowering, smooth going down. Not a typical tripel with the earthy smell/taste. Overall, great beer. Considering the high ABV, you can't taste it at all. Very well done.

Hazy golden yellow color with a small whitish head that dimished quickly to a thin ring and fast dripping lace, nothing sticking really. Smell has a good yeasty aroma, somewhat spiced and thick with sweet malts, citrusy lemon thats dulled down with some clove and band-aid plastic-like notes and a hint of alcohol. Taste is quite good with dulled lemon and candish malts with a soft front, creamy feel and medium body thats pretty hefty in the middle with a yeasty fresh grab which adds some spiced zest and drying notions late. The finish has some interesting complexity with the drying with grassy notes, raw melon husk, lemon peels; a cottony fluff coats the inside cheeks and tongue in a later aspect well after each sip. This was extremely close to getting more score in smell and taste, I want to give it those next numbers but something makes me want more from it so a solid number it is. The alcohol is extremely well hidden, it hit my head about 3/5 of the glass as it is a very drinkable triple and I just kept drinking it.

A: Pours a nice orange almost yellow with two fingers of white foamy head.
S: Typical belgian smell. Citrus, bananas and coriander?
T: Spicy and fruity, matches the smell almost exactly.
M: Light body with lots of carbonation.
D: This is a pretty good tripel, but nothing really out of the ordinary.

A - Cloudy apricot colored body. Head pours to about one finger but now just has a ring around the glass with a bit left floating on the surface.
S - Sweet on the nose. Spicy, boozy, malty sweet with sugar. Some fruit odor in there, maybe peach?
T - Very much like the smell. Hops are spicy and peppery. Sweet pale maltiness combines with that traditional belgian spice mix nicely. Faint alcohol twinge to it.
M - Medium full bodied. Slightly syrupy, but not too much so. Carbonation is good.
D - Yet another solid offering from Weyerbacher.

Well, a Belgian. Im pretty sure this will be good. How it is a 84 is amazing to me. So far the only thing I dont like about this style is the look. They tend to be a little yellowish. Im pretty sure i can get past that to get to the flavor. Really great brew. Oh wait, it’s 9.3% ABV? :BANNED:
