Nice light orangy gold in color, lots of carbonation bubble action within its base. A tall one inch ivory head thats soild, even, and settled to stay as an even skim across the top, impressive. Lace is in patchy clumps.
Smell is quite nice starting and ending quickly in a citrusy menu, some apple hints, clearing into a nice woody sense and toastyness thats all very clean, fresh, and a good crispyness, mostly of malts though.
Taste is a little more malty then expected for an ESB. Toasty and crispy malts, clean, fresh, quite short lived. Some mildly mannered twingy citrus bittered hops. Much more hops needed here for this style. The feel is way to thin and watered down, no real character. Blah. This beer is worth looking at and smelling, then its a slight down slope from there.
For an ESB this needs some work, its more of an amber, and not even a good one at that really either.

A - Coppery reddish colored, clean body. Small, thick, tan head with good retention. Decent enough lacing.

S - Boozy. Big red fruit and caramel malt nose. Some hops peeking out, but can't quite pinpoint it.

T - This has a lot of the same qualities as Arrogant Bastard in my opinion. Big roasted caramel malt character. Juicy pronounced hops with a decent amount of bitterness.

M - Medium bodied. Carbonation is fine.

D - This would make a nice session beer.
