750 ml bottle I picked up CBX in Charleston for around $16. Served up in a becker pint.

A: Pours up a pale golden yellow body that is completely clear. Held to the light, the gold comes out a bit more with some vibrancy. Carbonation activity is abundant. The pour got me about a finger of loose, bubbly white head, but it disappeared in no time.

S: Smells kind of like a mix of a campfire and an electrical fire. Behind that is some tart lemony notes, but that burnt, smoke aroma is dominant.

T: Tastes like you are drinking a really good Berliner around a campfire and someone just threw in a sweaty horse blanket. Tart and lemony, followed by decent funk levels, and then sac taps you with smoke . . . and I think I like it.

M: Light in body with a bright carbonation to it. ABV is tiny. Tart on the palate. After taste is smoked lemons.

OA: Strangest beer that I think I have ever tried and enjoyed. Just really peculiar. If you drink with vigor, the Berliner qualities are just so pleasant. The moment you pull up on the sippin', the smoke just kicks the door in and hangs out for a while. interesting. Very interesting
