Pours a beautiful golden color, clear, with a bit of yeast in suspension. Large bubbled, two finger white head, that quickly disappears.
Nicely active carbonation, giving off that ever present collar of head around the glass. Little to no lacing.

Aromas of banana, apple, yeast with a hint of orange. A bit sweet-sugary. Very earthy and grassy.

Tastes of pear, apple and orange zest with a hint of lemon for fruit. Sweet - honey like. A bit spicy and sugary, but pleasantly so. Quite malty. Somewhat earthy, as expected.

Medium/full in body, smooth mouthfeel. Nice carbonation. I definitely pick up on the alcohol warmth of this.

Very enjoyable and refreshing. Not the best Saison I have had, but strong example non the less. I will definitely have this again.

Pours a fairly clear light yellow with several fingers of pillowy white foam atop. The foam slowly settles and leaves a bit of wispy lacing on the walls of the glass.

Sweet malty aroma up front is quickly overtaken by the main attraction in a saison, the yeast. Wonderful notes of light fruit, touch of black pepper, and citrus. Lemon peel comes through nicely outta the bunch.

Light and flavorful the malt dances across the tongue with a nice sweetness with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Yeasty notes of lemon peel and black pepper along with hops imparting a nice fruity note. Easy drinking and crisp, this brew is a nice saison at a nice price.

750ml, corked and caged. Bottled on Jan 03, 07.

A - Pours a lightly hazed apricot/yellowish colored body. Bit light tan head is about one and a half inches tall, thick and fluffy looking. Pillowy. Good retention.

S - Lightly yeasty, not as overpowering and strong as many saisons. Good amount of pale malt that has a sweetness to it. Floral, aromatic hops. Light spiciness.

T - Yeasty up front with a solid pale malt sweetness that lays the groundwork for this beer. Light spiciness with some nutmeg and coriander, maybe even a touch of black pepper. Floral hops come in towards the end and still taste fresh.

M - Light to medium bodied. Crisp.

D - Very good saison that goes down almost too easy. Sort of a little light on some of the traditional points, but super drinkable. It's hitting the spot right now.
