Binny's Orland

St. Boisterous pours with a beautiful crystal clear golden body. Streams of big carbonation bubbles rise to the, sadly, disappointing head. A one finger head formed on the pour that quickly fell to a skim coat and ring around the glass. The body does look great though.

Super clean, refreshing and simple nose. Lightly toasted grains are the backbone of this brew along with fresh grain huskiness. A nice sprinkling of floral hop qualities wash over the toastiness adding nice balance.

Good clean toasted grain flavors abound. A solid hop snapo on the finish comes along after the floral hop bouquet hits lightly all over the mouth. Mild green apple skin tartness along with that hop snap. Very nicely done.

Medium body that seems a little lighter from the solid carbonation. Carbonation gives a slightly prickly impression on the tongue. This beer finishes superbly clean and slightly dry.

Enjoyable, refreshing, lively, brew. Easy one too put away although the higher than average abv could catch up to you quite easily.

Another winner from the guys over at Victory. Not a style I see very often but they nailed it. Keep it up over there.

A - Poured golden with almost no head. What head there was was gone in less than a minute.

S - Light smell. Smells very sweet. Very little hint of malt or hops.

T - Sweet with a surprising bite up front. Almost no aftertaste. Very clean beer.

M - Slightly thick (probably due to the abv). Carbonation is just right.

D - I could have a couple, but not too many.

Very interesting beer. A good, not great offering from Victory.
