A- This beer pours a jet black body with a creamy light tan head that last as a thick ring.

S- The dark roasted malt is earthy with chocolate malt grown and a Sumatra roasted coffee coming through in the finish. There is a fresh raw grain aroma and some green hop aromas that come through as it opens up.

T- The dark roasted black malt has a slight chalk quality to it with some nice bakers chocolate notes and a touch of oats and tartness in the finish. Green woody hops are light but present in the finish.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a chewy texture and no real alcohol heat noticed.

O- The wonderful dry stout has a nice complex roasted profile that is balanced by very nice coffee and chocolate flavors aswell. This is a big beer but it is very easy to drink.

Pours a deep brownish black with a very small deep brown head that quickly settles to leave almost nothing but a bit of tan here and there floating around.

Lots of smooth and slightly sweet milk chocolate. Touch of toffee and cocoa nibs. Just a bit of roasty aroma and a bit more dry sweetness.

Smooth and roasty chocolate malt. Nice cocoa nib tasty and some dry sweetness. Light hint of toffee and faint hint of lactose. More roastiness and light chocolate flavor on the aftertaste with a nice dry sweetness.

Darkest of dark brown that captures black and thick with no light getting thru. A soft yielding cocoa tanned foam lifts to about a finger high before fading to a feathery skim and a few blotches of stringy lacing sticking to the glass.

Aroma is nicely soft with lots of complexing subtlety that wraps itself mostly around a dry oatmeal sense and roastyness with nice hints to cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, and sweet roasted almonds.

Flavors are toned well and share the same complexing subtlties that that aroma does. Here in the taste though, the roastyness rules over the dry oaty stuff as its dry and choppy with roasted grains, burnt coffee bits, some light cocoa and a small residual sweet sense way in the back that lends some breadyness, vanilla, and dates.

Feel and structure is a sturdy medium body with a lofty, alluring soft dryness and roastyness thats coated in the back with more of a milky tone.

A very solid brew and drinkably solid too. Tyranena does not disappoint with this new addition to their line up.
